Would I Pay to Remove Ads? Hah! No.

     Of course, everyone in the world must have heard, seen, or known of YouTube. What is YouTube? YouTube is a video-sharing website founded in 2005. People could watch different kinds of videos here and upload their own too. Before YouTube was even made, people just relied on their local TVs at home for different videos. Since then, the making of Youtube has changed the world forever. It has transformed everything from entertainment to education. It has opened doors for talented people wanting to be discovered. It also has brought everyone in the world together.

     In the past years, YouTube has been growing, evolving, and changing. The website's layouts has changed over the years. It started of with a plain white and boring layout with its famous logo. You only had a few options to do in YouTube such as viewing your favourites, profile, videos, and messages. Then, 2006 passed by and Google decided to buy YouTube. Since then, YouTube's layout has evolved greatly. It has added a ton of new options such as editing your profile, editing your videos,  subscribing to other people, and many more! There were people who liked it and there were some who hated it but soon enough got used to it.

     Furthermore, now that YouTube has been growing, more and more people have been using it to watch free videos. That's right FREE videos but with ads. So this year, YouTube decided to release a way to eliminate those ads and let you view some PREMIUM videos. And that way is to get a subscription. Do you how much this subscription cost? It cost at least $10 a month! Woah, I think that's just too much for people who just wanted to watch some FREE videos. I mean have you ever seen another site like YouTube? In my opinion, the subscription is not really that worth it. I can handle videos with ads. I just need to click "Skip Ad" and it's over. It's so easy and it's better than paying. I think YouTube will be fine without this new subscription. 

MY FRIENDS

I GOT SOME GREAT FRIENDS. ONE IS SITTING RIGHT BESIDE ME AT THIS MOMENT. SHE IS WRITING DOWN SOME NOTES FOR HER TGJ. AND HERE I AM, DISTURBING HER. SHE IS WORKING SUPER HARD. I SUPPORT HER ON THAT. SHE IS SUCH A GREAT STUDENT. HOPE SHE PROSPER.

MOREOVER, TWO OF MY FRIENDS ARE IN FOOD. WHAT ARE THEY DOING YOU ASK? WELL THEY ARE COOKING SOME GREAT FOOD TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY. HOW WONDERFUL. I COULD CRY.

FURTHERMORE, ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE IS IN TECH. SHE IS CUTTING SOME WOOD AND SHAPING THEM TO AN ANIMAL. SHE HAS BEEN WORKING HARD TO CUT SUCH DELICATE DETAILS. HOPE SHE DOES WELL.

LASTLY, MY LAST FRIEND IS IN FRENCH. SHE'S BEEN WORKING HARD ON HER FRACAIS. HOPE SHE DOES GREAT IN THAT. SHE COULD TRAVEL FRANCE WITH EASE BEING FLUENT IN THE LANGUAGE. GOOD LUCK ON HER.

TO CONCLUDE, I HAVE GREAT FRIENDS. DURING TOUGH TIMES AND GOOD TIMES, WE ALL LOVE EACH OTHER. MAY WE PROSPER AND STAY LONGER.

Is TV Dying? I Don't Think SO!

     The television! You can find this device in your living room, bedroom, or I guess even in your kitchen. What is it? It is a device with a screen that shows pictures and sounds. In the past, they look like rectangular boxes. Today, as technology advances, TV’s now look like flat picture frames. Instead of a wide box shape, they are now flat like paper.

     Moving on, televisions are great for entertainment. They bring families together. Whenever my dad and I had to watch our favorite show, we quickly go to the living room, grab our snacks, and sat comfortably in front of the TV. I like watching in the television. My family does too. In my opinion, watching in other devices are too hard and too small. They made a television for a reason. When people watch on their hand-held devices, they tend to bring their devices close to their face since they can’t see it. This habit is really bad for your eyesight. Thus, I find that watching on the television is comfortable. Moreover, I swear, every channel has commercials. I can tolerate commercials since they give me a break from what I was watching. I could take a quick break to the washroom or get a few more snacks.

The TV's in the olden days! 

     Since Netflix and other applications have been introduced, people have started to watch TV in their own ways. Even though, these things have been introduced, regular cable TV won’t lose. Why?

Exhibit a: There are people who liked to check the news daily. They always check for the traffic congestion or the weather for day. They check the latest crimes that has happened or the latest celebrity scandal. Netflix or other applications do not have this.

Exhibit b: There are people who are huge sport fans. Whenever there is a live game, they all gather together to watch and sit in front of the TV cheering for their teams. Again, these on-demand streamers do not really have live streaming of sports.

Exhibit c: There are people who like to watch live events such as the VMAs or the Elections. On-demand streamers don’t stream events such as these.

     In conclusion. Television and cable networks would never die out or END! It is one of the greatest inventions man ever made. My family always uses the TV. There was never a day with the TV off.
